What we make
From a single skirting run to a full house refit.
We work direct with homeowners and as a sub-contractor for builders and developers — domestic and commercial, 1st fix through to final fix. The list below is what we get asked for most. If it’s wood and it lives in or around your home, ask anyway.
03
Who you’re hiring
Made in Burnley.
Rooted a little further west.
Maple Vale is a small joinery outfit run by a time-served carpenter with seven years on the tools. Domestic and commercial. Direct, no salesperson, no markup for an office in Manchester you’ll never visit.
The name’s a quiet nod to Irish heritage on the family side — “Maple Vale” being a softer way of saying we still believe in craft, slow finish and standing over the work after it’s done.

How it goes
From quote to clean-up.
Three steps. No mystery.
Step I
Talk it through.
Call or WhatsApp with what you've got — photos, plans, vague ideas. We'll come and measure up at no cost.
Step II
Quote, fixed and itemised.
Written quote within 48 hours. Materials, labour and lead-times broken out — no surprises mid-job.
Step III
Fit. Finish. Sweep up.
On site, on time. Dust sheets down. We leave it cleaner than we found it — that part isn't optional.
What clients say
“Clean as a whistle, finished early, and the kitchen looks like it cost twice what we paid. Wouldn’t go anywhere else now.”

What we’d put down in our own house, and where you can save money without it looking cheap.

How to spec a kitchen without getting fleeced.
Five questions every joiner hopes you won’t ask, and three line items they hope you won’t notice. Honest…
